Rani Ramnath, DDS

Dr. Rani Ramnath completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985 and earned her Master’s degree in Real Estate and Finance at the same institution in 1987. She attended dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1999. She purchased Hoke Road Dental in 2015, and has practiced in the Clayton, Ohio, area ever since.
Dr. Ramnath continues her education constantly, staying up-to-date on the latest advances in dentistry in order to better serve her patients. She is also a graduate of the Misch Institute of Implantology, and has completed sedation training with St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center and the American Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry. In 2013/2014, she completed a full year of training in Implantology with the ICOI. Since completion of this series, Dr. Ramnath has taken quarterly courses in the use of 3D imaging and CEREC Integration with the Spear Group, CEREC Doctors, and Patterson Dental.
Dr. Ramnath is a member of several professional organizations, including:

• Montgomery Country Dental Society
• Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists
As a dentist, Dr. Ramnath’s goal is to never fall behind. She states, “There are hundreds if not thousands of dentists who enter practices and go through the paces for 20 or 30 years to retirement. The world of dentistry passes them by. There is a world of techniques and information in dentistry that is always marching forward, changing and branching out. These include the basics such as hygiene and basic restorations, to the complex such as hybrid dentures, implantology and advanced Endodontics. The materials and the methods that are introduced annually are vast. We live in a world that is technology based, and we are trying to stay on the leading if not bleeding edge.”


In her spare time, Dr. Ramnath enjoys hiking, art, painting, and fishing.
